"It takes only 5 users to uncover 80% of usability problems" – Jacob Nielson, Author, Researcher and Consultant on User Interfaces.

Usability testing is a technique used to evaluate a product by testing it on real users. Your website might look great to you or to us, but the real question is. "How does your target audience feels about this website?"

To answer this question we suggest Usability Testing of a website before you launch the website.

The process:-

  • Select the users on which the test is to be conducted. Results will be as good as the users you select.
  • Make participants behave as real as possible. So that they reach as if they are really using the website.
  • Tell the users in brief about the website and take the initial feedback on what they would expect from the website.
  • Choose task that are essential to the new website’s success like buying a product, downloading brochure etc.
  • Give them a scenario rather than instructions. Example: Your boss wants you to provide him the telephone number of a good and affordable electrician. Navigate the website by keeping this information in mind.
  • Once the test is complete, gather all the information from the participants on how they felt while navigating the website and how they will compare it to other websites in the same industry etc.

We conduct Usability Testing in the most real scenarios such as at office, coffee shops, and libraries rather than in artificially created environment.
